First class sports rehabilitation starts with
accurate assessment & diagnosis

How we assess your injury

We’re known for the accuracy of our assessments and diagnoses. We use a combination of observation, testing, range of movement tools and hands-on appraisal to assess the full breadth of anatomical and biomechanical factors impacting your body. Once we have a diagnosis and a solid understanding of your body, we create a personalised plan for your rehab.

Your rehab plan is designed with your specific sport in mind and is adjusted as you progress, which also ensures you remain challenged and interested.

If further examination is necessary, we can facilitate medical imaging or onwards referrals to specialists.

What to expect from sports rehab

Sports injury rehab is a planned programme of treatment and self-care for people with a sporting injury. We focus on reducing pain and ensuring good progression while preventing over-training and fostering a sustained recovery.

Sports injury rehab may involve one treatment or a number of approaches such as manual therapy (hands-on), exercise prescription, sports taping, shockwave therapy, BFRT, acupuncture or NMES, depending on your specific needs. It is very likely to involve targeted gym work at some point.

Our sports physios also all include advice on self-management and prevention of future injuries.

Sports activities put extra demands on the body, which can lead to common sports injuries such as tendon related issues, strains and sprains, overuse injuries, fractures and tears. Unfortunately, these injuries can disrupt your training schedule and leave you sidelined and fed up.

Our sports injury rehabilitation programmes are designed to promote healing, restore optimal function and get you back to the sport you love as quickly as possible, whatever your injury.
